The Unexpected brings free and accessible art, education and programs to Arkansas and Fort Smith.  During each event the walls of several downtown historic buildings are painted with large murals.  The buildings are located in between about 10 square blocks and the public is encouraged to witness the process as internationally renowned artists work to complete their murals.
